STM: One Juvenile Arrested for Aggravated Battery, Poisoning

On October 9, 2019, an incident was reported to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding the potential poisoning of a student at St. Thomas More High School.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and thus far, as a result of their investigation, one juvenile has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, because the case involves multiple juveniles, and remains under investigation, no further information is available at this time.
