President Joe Biden Set To Accomplish 11 Key Actions Within First Few Weeks In Office

According to an NPR report and sources within the White House, President Joe Biden has a list of priority actions that he intends to accomplish within the first few weeks of his presidency. 

Below is a partial list of what President Biden plans to accomplish with and without the use of Executive Order:

1. Take immediate steps to rejoin the World Health Organization.
2. Rejoin the Paris climate agreement. 
3. Revoke the permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada.
4. Place a stop on all Southern Border Wall construction.
5. Require the wearing of masks and social distancing in federal buildings and on federal lands by federal employees and contractors.
6. Ask federal agencies to extend eviction and foreclosure moratoriums through March 31,2021.
7. Ask Education Department to extend federal student loan payment and interest pause through Sept. 30, 2021.
8. Place a temporary moratorium on oil and gas leasing in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
9. Begin to reverse the 100 plus actions President Trump took to roll back environmental regulations.
10. Rescind President Trump's 1776 Commission and revoke Trump's order limiting diversity training.
11. Reverse President Trump's directive to exclude undocumented immigrants from the census numbers used to reapportion each state's share of congressional seats and Electoral College votes.
