Jeanerette Mayor Aprill Foulcard, along with her brother Berwick Francis, a councilman in Iberia Parish, their sister Antigone Anthony, and mother Jacqueline Francis turned themselves into the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office this morning.

The four were indicted last week by a 19th judicial district grand jury on multiple charges ranging from Medicaid fraud, racketeering, conspiracy to commit forgery, money laundering, and filing and maintaining false public records for business dealings with JABA Enterprises; a home-health company owned in part by the Mayor and other family members. Bail has yet to be set for the four.

The state appointed David Greer to the office of Mayor after Foulcard surrendered to authorities.
