The Lafayette Police Department is investigating two shootings that took place last night in the Hub City.

One shooting occurred in the 100 block of Macon St., where a bystander suffered a non-life-threatening injury when two unknown suspects exchanged gunfire.

The second shooting took place at a convenience store on Eraste Landry Rd. A vehicle was shot, but no one was injured in the incident.
