New Open Container Allowances For Bar Patrons
On August 7, the Abbeville City Council unanimously passed a revision to their open container law. The new law will now allow bar-goers the ability to take their drinks outside of the bar as long as they remain on the sidewalk near the building. The revision comes after a recent ban on smoking in bars which goes into effect on September 1st.
