Lafayette Deputies Seize More Than $1 mil. In Drugs, Guns, and Cash
Oct 30, 2018 01:35PM ● By Press ReleaseDuring the early hours of Friday October 26th, the Sheriff’s SWAT team and Narcotics Unit Deputies executed search warrants at a residence on Rue Septembre street along with a business located located in the 900 block of Westgate Boulevard in Scott.
Upon searching the premises, agents discovered over 11.9 pounds (4,423.7 grams) of Methamphetemine with a DEA street value of $1,084,740.00. Deputes also discovered $8,884.00 in cash, 45.4 grams of Marijuana, 9 Alprozalam pills, 8 Oxycodone pills, 10 MDMA pills, 13 Vyvance pills, two semi automatic pistols and other drug paraphernalia.

Shawn Labbe (35) was arrested and charged with: Possession with the Intent to Distribute (PWITD) Schedule II (Methamphetmaine), PWITD Schedule I (Marijuana), PWITD Schedule II (Oxycodone), PWITD Schedule IV (Alprozalam), PWITD Schedule I (MDMA), PWITD Schedule II (Vyvanse), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon and Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances.
Ana Smith (30) was charged with: Possession with the Intent to Distribute (PWITD) Schedule II (Methamphetmaine), PWITD Schedule I (Marijuana), PWITD Schedule II (Oxycodone), PWITD Schedule IV (Alprozalam), PWITD Schedule I (MDMA), PWITD Schedule II (Vyvanse), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a firearm in presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Dallas Wade Bourque (59) was charged with Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Sheriff addressed the agents and told them how proud he was of them for their hard work during the invesigation, and for keeping these very dangerous drugs from getting into circulation within Lafayette and the surrounding areas.
