Three Arrested In Kidnapping & Attempted Murder of Lafayette Man

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested three of the four individuals wanted for
the kidnapping, robbery and attempted murder of a man on Christmas Day.

During the investigation, detectives learned Gabriella Duhon lured the victim, an exboyfriend, to Acadiana Park on December 25, 2018. Duhon and her sister, Hailey Altman, planned to beat and rob the victim with the help of Altman’s boyfriend, Alex Arceneaux, and his brother, Ethan Guidry.

When the victim arrived at the park, he was kidnapped by the suspects, robbed of
several belongings, and later beaten.

At some point, Guidry took out a handgun and began shooting at the victim. The victim
was not struck during the shooting, and was able to escape from the suspects. The victim was later treated at a hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.

With the help of the Rayne Police Department, Guidry, Altman and Arceneaux were arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

- Ethan Guidry (17) - Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Armed Robbery and 2nd Degree Kidnapping

- Hailey Altman (20) - Criminal Conspiracy, Armed Robbery and 2nd Degree Kidnapping

- Alec Arceneaux (23) - Criminal Conspiracy, Armed Robbery and 2nd Degree Kidnapping

- Gabriella Duhon (18), is still wanted and has outstanding warrants for Criminal Conspiracy, Armed Robbery and 2nd Degree Kidnapping.
