Downtown Hit and Run Suspect Wanted (Video)

Lafayette Police are asking for help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident around 2: am Saturday morning in Downtown Lafayette.
The video shows the suspect vehicle traveling on Lee Avenue towards its intersection with Jefferson Street and colliding with a parked car. The suspect vehicle then backed up and leaves the scene.
Police say the vehicle involved in the hit and run is possibly a blue Ford Mustang and should have damage on the passengers' side of the vehicle.
The investigation into the incident remains on-going. Anyone with information is urged to call Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
