LFT Police Tactical Narcotics Team - Warrant Round-Up “Operation Wake Up”

On March 26, 2019 the Lafayette Police Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) executed a Narcotic Warrant Round-Up.
Operation “Wake Up” focused on identifying suspects responsible for the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the city limits of Lafayette. These types of illegal activities have direct correlation to violent crimes in the city. As a result, 16 narcotic arrest warrants were executed in effort to locate these suspects.
As of today 17 arrests have been made. TNT’s objective is to rid the community of narcotics and reduce drug-related crimes effecting families. The public’s assistance is needed in an attempt to locate 6 wanted fugitives that were not located today.
