Appeals Court Rules in Favor of Lafayette City-Parish Council in Charter Boundary Lawsuit

The Third Circuit Court of Appeal has ruled (2-1) in favor of the Lafayette City-Parish Council in a lawsuit filed by Keith Kishbaugh and LA Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin that brought in question an Ordinance which corrected inadvertent errors in district boundary lines for the new City Council districts that were created in the December 2018 charter election.
