Six Injured In St. Antoine Street Shooting

Lafayette Police have confirmed that in the early morning hours on Tuesday, officers responded to a local banquet hall in the 200 block of S. St. Antoine St. in reference to someone discharging a weapon inside.
Upon arrival, officers located six victims suffering from gunshot injuries. All victims suffered non-life threatening injuries; some were transported to a local hospital and were later released.
At this time no arrest(s) have been made. The investigation remains on-going. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to call Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
