Founded in 1922 as a training ground for Southern University, the Laboratory School has been a pillar in the Baton Rouge community. Our school promotes a community where scholars discover and develop to the fullness of their own unique capacity. Students are invited to experience education through dynamic instruction, self-directed exploration, and creative activity. Today we are proud of the spirited way our students and alumni continue to embody and further these ideals.
